My name is Davina Ferreira — award-winning entrepreneur, poet, and founder of Alegria Media & Publishing.
My deepest passion is this: helping you transform your pain into art, heal yourself through writing, and discover the power your own story holds.
I believe — with everything I am — that writing your story, your poetry, your truth can transform your life, heal your heart, and bring profound wellbeing to everything you are.
I know this firsthand. I grew up in a country torn apart, inside a deeply dysfunctional family. What saved me wasn't what I expected. It was a book. It was a poem. It was the stage. Reading, writing, and performing cracked me open — and showed me who I was always meant to become.
Today, I lead Alegria Media & Publishing — a full-service independent publishing company built to amplify the voices of Latinas, Latinx people, and underrepresented writers, poets, and creators everywhere.
