Like many, she has lived as an imposter, authored by the projections of others. In the mirror, she reconciles the past and present, dialogues with the void, and in doing so, solves the mystery of who she is— and who she has always been. 

Ava Cázares is a Mexican-American poet and licensed psychotherapist in Los Angeles, CA. Born and raised in Riverside, CA, she earned her Bachelor's of Arts in psychology and education from UCLA and her Master's of Science in Marriage & Family Therapy from USC. Now as a published author, she has acquired a second profession that makes others feel.
